MALTA CITIZENSHIP

At the end of 2020 the Government of Malta issued the Regulations on granting citizenship by a certificate of naturalization to foreign individuals and their families based on their exceptional contribution to the country’s economic development.
BENEFITS
Visa-free or visa-on-arrival travel to 180+ countries.
Opportunity to include to the main application: a spouse, financially dependent children under 29 and parents over 55.
No requirements to the physical residence in the country, but all the family members should visit the country regularly with documentary certification of Malta’s border crossing.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
To participate in the program the main applicant must fulfill the following requirements, and all family members must undergo four-tier due diligence process.
  • To make contribution to the country’s economic development for the amount of EUR 700,000.

  • To lease of a residential property from EUR 16,000 per year and hold for 5 years.
    • OR
  • To make donation for the amount of EUR 10,000 to one or few philanthropic organizations approved by the government.
